It provides an open and transparent opportunity for interested scientists and technical experts to provide input and advice for the stock assessments being conducted by SPC as part of their provision of scientific services to the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC). The PAW also provides a forum to present and discuss recent work related to harvest strategy technical aspects, and other research that is relevant to the tuna, billfish and shark stock assessment work. Please note that this is a technical workshop organised by SPC and is not a formal meeting of the WCPFC, also the workshop does not consider management issues. The meeting is held in a hybrid format, attendance in-person at SPC’s Noumea headquarters is typically self-funded by external participants.   PAW 2024 - draft agenda   SPC Headquarters, New Caledonia Pacific Community (SPC) [email protected] UTC public
