Pacific Fisheries Leadership Programme

Developing leaders to advance fisheries priorities and strengthen regional collaboration across the Pacific

The Pacific Fisheries Leadership Programme (PFLP) is designed to strengthen individual leadership while building the capabilities needed to lead in complex environments — locally, nationally, and regionally.

Funded by New Zealand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), the Pacific Fisheries Leadership Programme (PFLP) is led by the Pacific Community (SPC) in partnership with others – working together to align with local and regional priorities.

About the programme

PFLP has been delivered and continuously refined over several years with approximately 400 people completing the most recent delivery.

To complement technical expertise that participants bring, the programme strengthens leadership by building self-awareness, deepening the ability to engage and mobilise others, and developing the capability to anticipate change, adapt, and lead into the future.

Join the PFLP Mailing List to receive communications and updates about upcoming activities.
